*MARLIN MODEL 336 RC LEVER-ACTION CARBINE. Cal. 30-30. Late Marlin carbine with 20” bbl, full magazine and pistol grip stock with beavertail forearm. The receiver and bbl are Oriental engraved with coarse foliate patterns and has a raised inlaid silver mule deer on the left side and a whitetail deer on the right side. The stock and forearm are carved with a large, running white tail buck on the right side of the buttstock with carved bone antlers. The wrist and forearm are relief carved in foliate patterns with a serrated background. The bottom of the forearm is inlaid with large silver initials “DD”. SN J53398. CONDITION: Very fine.
