NEW ENGLAND DECORATED PANTRY BOX. Second quarter 19th century. This maple and pine example with rare and nicely decorated surfaces. Lid with central flower head within a border of trailing floral vinery in red, salmon and green. Sides of box similarly decorated. All on a dry mustard ground. SIZE: 3″ h x 7″ dia. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Original painted surfaces remain intact. 9-25639 (600-900)
