EARLY AMERICAN DECORATED PINE BLANKET CHEST. Late 18th century. In a red wash with inlay simulated painted two tone borders. The rectangular strap hinged lid with applied molded edges opening to an interior fitted with a lidded till, the dovetailed chest with pair of aligned drawers on molded base raised on suppressed ball feet. The case mounted with carrying handles. SIZE: 26-1/2″ h x 38″ l x 20″ d. CONDITION: Very good with scrubbed surfaces. 9-25982 (2,000-3,000)
