Consisting of three Shell Border Series, two 10″ diameter, one 9″ diameter plates featuring American paddle wheel “Union Line”, impressed marked “Wood and Sons”; two Shell Border Series plates, “Falls Montmorenci, Quebec” impressed “Wood and Sons” with blue underglaze mark, 8-1/2″ and 9″; one 9″ American Independent 1776 Washington commemorative impressed “Wood and Sons” plate; one 5-1/2″ Foliage and Scroll border river view impressed “Clews” Staffordshire and a 3-1/2″ Shell Border Series cup plate with American fortress impressed “Wood and Sons.” PROVENANCE: From the “Harp House” of Camden, Maine.
