TWO CONTINENTAL SILVER PIECES. 1) 7-3/4″ h silver pitcher, probably French with an eagle touchmark. Pitcher having a band of repousse grape bunches & leaves. No monogram. 2) 14-1/2″ w x 8″ h covered double handled serving dish, probably French. The interior has been gold washed and the cover in engraved “Artemus Ward”. The round cover having a removable handle. WEIGHT: 86 tr. oz. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Very good. 9-21421 (1,000-2,000)
