FULL PLATE AMBROTYPE OF AN OUTING AT NIAGARA FALLS ATTRIBUTE TO PLATT D. BABBIT. Circa 1855-1860. Scene shows a group on the American side of Niagara Falls including a child, three men, and two women all in fancy clothing. Babbit was known to have shot hundreds of photographs from the same vantage point referred to as “Prospect Point”. Housed in a full plate leather case. SIZE: 7″ x 9″.
