TWO ENGLISH STERLING POTS. 1) 9-3/4″ h tapered bulbous pot having hinged lid with finial, scrolled wood handle. The body decorated with repousse flowers and scrolls. Monogrammed “AW” (Artemas Ward?). Hallmarked London, maker “RC”. 2) 9-1/2″ h fancy pot hallmarked London, 1902/3 by W. Hutton & Sons, Ltd. The pot having a winged griffin finial to the hinged cover, the shoulder band with rams head and bow tie holding swags of leaves against a rib paneled tapering middle. Fancy rope turned and leaf decorated handle. WEIGHT: 48 tr. oz. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Very good. 9-21417 (800-1,200)
