SIGNED ONE PAGE LETTER BY CHARLES I KING OF ENGLAND, SCOTLAND AND IRELAND. The letter dated April 23, 1628 and signed on the top “Charles R”. The letter relating to a consolidation of troops to one location. It also indicates that the town where the soldiers would congregate would be compensated for their expenses. It needs to be understood that at this time Charles I was in the midst of a Parliamentary crisis involving taxation without Parliamentary consent.
