LARGE ARCHIVE OF PAPER EPHEMERA, PHOTOGRAPHS, ETC. RELATING TO THE PAN AM YANKEE CLIPPER. The archive comes from Alan Wright and Chauncey D. Wright who was an engineer officer on the flights. The cache of material includes two fabulous photograph albums with annotations which include pictures overlooking New York City, the Brazilian Clipper in 1934 shown at West Point and Sikorsky Ramp. Also a series of photographs of Lindbergh’s test of the Brazilian Clipper at Stratford, CT. A quantity of period photographs including some that are signed. Pamphlets concerning the Clipper, some awards, Pan American Clipper magazine, New Horizons magazine and much more. CONDITION: Generally in very good condition. 9-25532 (2,000-4,000)
