London: 1781, in very rough condition but the plates, plans, and maps generally very good including “A CHART OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN EXHIBITING THE SEAT OF WAR BOTH IN EUROPE AND AMERICA”. This map dated 8/26/1780. WITH: Three editions of THE NAVAL HOWITZER ASHORE. New York: 1865 (2 copies) and 1866 (water stained). All with black and white plates, some folding. WITH: Two leather-bound copies of THE MILITARY AND NAVAL MAGAZINE. The issues of 1835 and 1836. Well bound with some foxing. WITH: A REGISTER OF SHIPS EMPLOYED IN THE SERVICE OF THE HON. UNITED EAST INDIA COMPANY. London: 1800. Tears and some loss to the folding table to the 1803-1804 season. The table for 1805-1806 in better condition. 16mo, bound in leather, good only. WITH: Two biographies of Stephen Decatur. The first is the 1848 work by Mackenzie (Howe’s M-136), in the original cloth (faded). This is a volume in the Library of American Biography. THE LIFE AND CHARACTER OF STEPHEN DECATUR. Published in 1822, the book is in good only condition with significant foxing.
