Including 1) Vol. II Memoirs of the Bloomsgrove Family by Enos Hitchcock, 1790 having a Benjamin Lincoln Lear bookplate, also inserted is a 6″ x 3-1/2″ hand colored engraving titled “Thomas Chapman Schoolmaster”. On reverse is hand written “William Smith William Richards Falmouth”. 2) Leather bound book “The Idler” second vol., 1810 with a bookplate of Hugh W. Diamond. The text having a curious cipher annotations on almost every page with underlying phrases having off to the side the first letter of each word in a continuous new word. 3) First edition “Illustrations of Political Economy No. III” by Harriet Martineau, 1832. 4) “The Deformed Transformed, A Drama Paris, 1824”. 5) “The Court and City Register 1794, London”. 6) “The Traveler’s Pocketbook” 23rd Edition, 18th Century. 7 & 8) Two volume set “Retrospect of Western Travel” by Harriet Martineau, 1838. 9) “The Oriental Annual” or “Scenes in India”, London, 1836 with 22 engravings after original drawings by William Daniell.
