THE MARY STORER COPY OF SCOTT’S FAMILY BIBLE. THE HOLY BIBLE. Phila: Dickinson, (printer), 1811. This is Woodward’s second American from the second London edition. With Mary Storer’s signature to the title page of each of the five volumes. Folios, full tree calf, with bright red spine labels and bright black volume numbers, five raised bands. Nicks and gouges to upper right spine of volume II and some minor flaking and discoloration to boards front and rear. Volumes I, III, & IV slightly darker than volumes II & V, but still a striking shelf presentation. Evidence of removal of a book plate or some such other matter from the front paste downs. There is one page of the family record completed, beginning with the death of Samuel Storer who died on 10/30/15 “In the afternoon in the 63 year of his age.” CONDITION: as noted 9-98699 (500-1,000)
