Many black and white illustrations. Text in French. Original decorative red and blue cloth with gilt designs and lettering. All edges gilt. Early 20th century. Wallace Nutting set published by Old America Company, Framingham, Massachusetts. Volumes one and two retain dust jackets and in original cardboard sleeve, copyright 1928. Volume three without dust cover, copyright 1933. Of special interest is that the set is retained in the original wood shipping crate with mailing label from Wallace Nutting, Old America Co. of Framingham, Massachusetts. CONDITION: Verne books with wear to spines and edges of covers. Pages generally good. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea with water staining at bottom outer corner of first 75 pages.
