Watercolor in the Grandma Moses style, scene shows a winter farm homestead having large red house and barn, bridge over frozen water, horse drawn sleigh with two people, cows and windmill. Hills in background support children sledding down. Also skaters are seen on frozen pond. Signed lower right “CB Allerton 1952”. Housed in its original painted stepped frame.
