ORIENTAL CARVED JADE STYLIZED PERCHING EAGLE TOGETHER WITH A CLAY FIGURE OF SEATED DEITY & SOUTH AMERICAN REDWARE DOG FORM PITCHER. Clay figure being Central or South American. The dog pitcher, possibly Columbian, having flattened round body raised on three stylized feet, the handle in the form of a dog’s head with pointed ears, the flaring spout, the animals tail. SIZE: 1) 3-1/4” h eagle. 2) Figure is 3-1/4”. 3) Dog pitcher 4-1/4”h x 10-1/4”l x 6-1/4”w. PROVENANCE: Fine private Long Island, New York mansion. CONDITION: Shell fractures and concussion marks on back of eagle. Eagle detached from plinth. Clay figure and dog pitcher very good. 9-739699-73963 (300-500)
