CONTINENTAL STONEWARE TANKARD WITH BLUE DECORATION. Second half 19th century. Of bulbous cylindrical form, fitted with a pewter lid, decorated overall with cobalt blue and incised floral sprig within cobalt borders. Beside the handle is incised the numeral “3” above an enameled “3”. SIZE: 13″ h. CONDITION: Very good overall, with an egg-shaped enamel imperfection beside and beneath the applied handle. 9-91861 (200-300)
