MAMMY MECHANICAL BANK This bank features the black “mammy” feeding the infant picaninny lying on her lap. The bank is activated by placing a coin on the mammy’s spoon (missing) and pushing the lever which in turn twists her wrist and deposits coin into the open picaninny’s mouth. An alternate coin slot is on the mammy’s apron in the form of a pocket. SIZE: 4″ l x 4″ w x 8″ h. CONDITION: Paint is very good but would definitely benefit from a professional cleaning job. Bandanna on her head and neck, although shows signs of wear, it is still in above average condition. Spoon is lacking from mammy’s hand as well as coin trap from base. 1-29949 (3,000-4,000)
