WILLIAM TELL MECHANICAL BANK W/ORIGINAL BOX Original dovetailed wooden box with sliding lid. And is impressed into wood “One Bank No. 331, “William Tell”, The J. & E. Stevens Co., Cromwell, Conn., U.S.A.” Following in the historic tradition of William Tell shooting the apple off of his son’s head, coin is placed on top of rifle barrel and fired when right foot is depressed thus rocking back William’s head and sending coin towards his son. Coin then hits apple and proceeds into castle activating bell within. SIZE: 10″ l x 3-1/2″ w x 7″ h.
