FOUR FRAMED MINIATURE PORTRAITS. Circa 1850-1950. The first and earliest, an oval three-quarter portrait of a woman with curled brown hair in a flowing blue dress wearing two gold hair pins and gold brooch, signed “Alex” above the proper left shoulder, mounted in original boule frame of the period. The second, a three-quarter portrait of a woman in a floral pink ribbon-tied bonnet and pearl necklace, signed “Selver” above the proper left shoulder, mounted in a brass frame. The third, an oval portrait of a haloed Madonna and Child, signed on the right side facing edge of portrait “L. Bollo”, mounted in a shaped bakelite frame. The fourth, an oval three-quarter portrait of a woman in ball gown with blue necklace and bejeweled hair, signed opposite the proper left cheek “Vebar”, mounted in a segmented simulated ivory frame. SIZE: First: 7-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ overall. Second: 4-1/4″ x 3″ sight. Third: 5″ x 4-1/2″ overall. Fourth: 4″ x 3″ sight. CONDITION: Nice overall, no issues noted. 9-91167 (400-800)
