AN EMBOSSED SOUTH AMERICAN SILVER HAMMERED AND DECORATED DRESSING MIRROR TOGETHER WITH A SIMILAR FRAME AND HAND MIRROR. Mid 19th century. Each decorated with scrolling flowerheads and leaf tips within beaded borders. The large mirror and frame stamped “925” and, the frame also marked “PERU”. SIZE: Dressing mirror 17″X 12″. Frame 8 1/4″ X 5 1/2″. Hand mirror 11 1/2″ X 6″. CONDITION: The thin silver sheeting with multiple dents and blemishes. The frames in good condition with waxed surfaces. 9-91145 (200-300)
