UNSIGNED (American/European, 19th Century) MOUNTAIN VISTA. Oil on canvas scene shows men at top of rock outcropping looking out over deep valley with river surrounded by majestic snow covered mountain peaks. Right side has tall Evergreen behind which is castle type building. Lead man holds pointed walking stick, wears knapsack, blue pants, coat and military type cap. Housed in its original gilt molded wood wide frame. SIZE: 22” x 26”. CONDITION: Very good, some craquelure. 9-94041 (800-1,200)
