FINE AMERICAN STERLING OVERLAY CLEAR GLASS BOTTLE, SIGNED ALVIN. First quarter 20th century. The paneled throat fitted with stopper, the whole of gourd form, decorated with scrolling grapevines. Marked on the base “Patented 3710 pt. 999/1000 fine” followed by the Alvin maker’s mark. SIZE: 8-1/4″ h. CONDITION: Very good overall, no defects noted. 9-91442 (600-900)
