FINE SHEFFIELD SILVER ENGRAVED GALLERY TRAY. Late 19th century. The oval tray with applied reeded handles and reticulated gallery, the surface decorated overall with oval cartouches and an inner border of shells, bellflowers and scrolling vinery centering an armorial crest raised on scrolled feet. Hallmarked beneath, “E P N S” beside a cartouche with the initials JGS above the numeral 01815. SIZE: 2-1/2″ overall h. x 26″ l. x 17″ w. CONDITION: Very nice, with normal accepted wear.
