CIRCLE OF ADRIAEN DE GRYEFF (Flemish, 1670-1715) HOUNDS WITH CATCH. Magnificent large oil on canvas scene shows two hunting dogs next to dead game with rifle and ammunition bag beside. Unsigned in an antique carved wood frame. Very colorful and beautifully rendered. Scene is shown against a colorful background of blue sky with white clouds and landscape having water, trees and castle. Old label with No. “41279 M”. Old Gallery card affixed to back stretcher “Galerie Charles Brunner 11 Rue Royale, Paris”. SIZE: 39-1/4” h x 52-3/4” w. CONDITION: Old relining, restoration and inpainting.
