SET OF FOUR VICTORIAN MAHOGANY ROSE-CARVED SIDE CHAIRS. Circa 1870. The scrolling leaftip and rose-carved crest rail with open handgrip continuing to serpentine stiles centering a scrolled leaftip carved splat. The overupholstered seat with serpentine edges raised on frontal angular cabriole legs with foliate carved knees and backswept rear legs. SIZE: 33″ h. of back. CONDITION: Fully refinished and restored, in very nice overall condition. One repair noted on back of one chair. 9-91488 (300-500)
