STURDITOY TRACTOR AND OIL TANKER. A competitor of Buddy “L”, Sturditoys were made as well if not better than their competitors and are fairly scarce. The oil tanker is one of the harder Sturditoys to find. Painted in red, with rubber tires and steel disc hubs. Tires are marked “Firestone”, made expressively for Sturditoy trucks; also has steerable wheels, separate headlights and license plate. SIZE: 36″ l. CONDITION: Toy appears all original with its tank caps, front bumper, and valves in the back of tank for releasing oil. Toy is missing one head lamp. Overall even wear to toy and is in good condition. 1-6215 MC (1,800-2,200)
