INTERESTING CARVED MYSTERY BOX. To get this box open, you must slide the slide that is under the right side molding out and grab the key that it inside. The front bottom rounded molding will slide to the right and come out. The middle carved book comes down revealing a lock. The key that you retrieved will work on the lock and open up a hinged cover which reveals a cloth lined interior. The box is in the form of books. Inlaid top with bush and banding. SIZE: 4-1/2” h x 6-1/2” w x 4-3/4” d. CONDITION: One small piece of book edge missing. Otherwise good. 9-94848 (200-300)
