HEYWOOD WAKEFIELD LABELED CHILD’S DAYBED TOGETHER WITH AMERICAN VICTORIAN WICKER DOLL’S CARRIAGE. Late 19th Century. 1) Daybed of rectangular form with woven seat and inclined headrest. Wicker skirt with zigzag and woven apron raised on four turned legs. 2) Carriage of typical form with adjustable hood, scrolled and rolled sides centering a padded seat with adjustable back and scrolling footrest, turned with fiddlehead elements on wire wheels. Scrolled handle with turned wooden hand rest. SIZE: 1) 19″ h x 42″ l x 17″ w. 2) 35″ h x 33″ l overall x 16″ w. CONDITION: Both in very good original dried finish, exhibiting minor losses to the wicker at head of daybed and at edges of footrest on carriage, parasol of carriage is absent. 9-91380 (300-500)
