FEDERAL STYLE MAHOGANY PRESENTATION BANJO CLOCK, NEW HAVEN CLOCK COMPANY. First quarter 20th century. The circular brushed-steel dial with Arabic numerals centering time and strike apertures, the brass spring-driven 8-day movement marked with patent dates and trademark. Above the throat with eglomise panel flanked by brass fillets above the box base with glass panel opening to brass pendulum and degree plaque marked New Haven Clock Company, New Haven, Conn, USA. The presentation bracket molded with spherules and acorn pendant, the whole headed with a brass urn-form finial. SIZE: 44-1/2″ overall h. CONDITION: Good overall, with original brass movement, case with old dark patina, box base glass minus eglomise decoration. 9-91339 (400-600)
