FINE GEORGE III STYLE CARVED MAHOGANY GENTLEMAN’S WARDROBE. Circa 1840. The dentil molded swan’s neck pediment with carved floral rosette terminals centering a dentil molded pediment and scrolling pierced foliate fretwork, the molded cornice with blind fretwork frieze, joined to the case fitted with a pair of arched panel doors, the lower case fitted with a deep single drawer, raised on ogee bracket feet. SIZE: 93″ h. x 59″ overall w. x 23-1/2″ d. CONDITION: This breakdown wardrobe retains original dark finish, though repolished. With breaks in fretwork on cornice which is repairable.
