PAIR OF FRENCH BOY AND GIRL FIGURINES. Polychromed earthenware figures are marked on the underside “JM 6334” and “JM 6335”. One depicts a boy in fancy formal attire with tri-corner hat seated atop classical railing with urn spindles. His feet rest on a naturalistic base. He faces left. The other figure shows a fancy dressed girl with wide brimmed bonnet, she carries a basket and faces right. When placed side by side they appear to be in conversation. SIZE: 20″ h x 9″ w x 7″ d. CONDITION: One finger tip missing from girl and small flake off bottom of dress. Boy has small paint loss on stocking, otherwise very good. 9-91372 (800-1,200)
