ROYAL DUX FIGURE OF A WOMAN IN ELIZABETHAN DRESS ON A HORSE. Late 19th/early 20th Century. Modeled depicting a woman with wide brimmed feathered hat, left arm outstretched in long flowing dress with cape, seated side saddle on her horse, the horse leaning against a tree stump on a natural rock work plinth. Marked beneath the plinth with the Dux acorn mark. SIZE: 22” h, 16” l x 7” w overall. CONDITION: Repairs to left hand, left foot missing toes, hairline crack, horse’s proper left shoulder, proper left cape of rider. Parasol or other object missing from left hand. Bridle missing from left hand. Surface is in need of a good overall cleaning. 9-74989 (400-600)
