LOUIS XVI STYLE DECORATED BRASS FENDER TOGETHER WITH A PAIR OF CLASSICAL ANDIRONS. Second half 19th century. The urn turned finials cast with pendant leaftips on pedestals applied with oval paterae. The rectangular serpentine rails with pierced supports centering the guilloche-cast mid-section on a concave molded plinth. The andirons with beaded urn finials with beaded edge on a cylindrical turned standard joined to cabriole legs with scrolled feet. SIZE: Fender overall length 48″. Anirons 27″ h. CONDITION: Fender in need of tightening and resoldering of joints, otherwise very good, the andirons in very good overall condition. 9-91533 (300-500)
