SET OF FOUR FRENCH EMPIRE STYLE CHAIRS. Set includes two armchairs and two side chairs. Each chair has ormolu mountings including angels, cornucopia’s, women’s heads, paw feet. Mahogany with old silk gold upholstery. Side chairs have over upholstered seats with tapered legs and slightly curved back crest. Armchairs are similar design but with square arms and arm supports capped with an ormolu winged woman’s bust. Metal line inlay throughout. SIZE: Armchair is 39-1/2” h; side chair is 36” h. CONDITION: Upholstery as is. One armchair has repaired leg. 9-93571 (1,000-1,500)
