FRENCH PERE NOEL CANDY CONTAINER. A fantastic candy container in his original box (store label on interior…L&J Rainal Freres Paris), dated on the top 1946, Père Noel Jean-Jacques. A cylindrical body covered in cotton batting with glitter added. Removing his composition red boots exposes the candy container. A finely detailed papier-mâché mask face with rabbit beard attached. CONDITION: Poor Santa must have scraped his nose on the chimney, as there is fine hairline surrounding his nose; otherwise overall condition is very fine. JL 1-2506 (800-1000)
