JULES MOIGNIEZ (French, 1835-1894) PHEASANT WITH A STOAT. Bronze figure of a pheasant walking with front claw on stump looking down at a small stoat (form of a weasel) which is below the stump. Signed “J Moigniez”. Mounted to a black oval marble base. Dark brown and verdigris patina. SIZE: Bronze is 18″ h x 20″ l. Base being 1″ h. CONDITION: Very good. 9-90819 (1,000-1,600)
