LOT OF TWO BANKS. 1) A great patriotic Uncle Sam bank by Shepard Hardware. Uncle Sam stands atop a base and deposits coins in a satchel marked “U.S”. 2) A finely cast Gem bank, an elaborately cast bank with flowers and vines and a sliding scale “register”. SIZE: Uncle Sam bank 11 1/2″ l; Gem bank, 6″ l. CONDITION: Some over paint to satchel on Uncle Sam’s bag, otherwise both banks seem in very good condition. 1-6186-2, 1-6210-1 MC (1,000-1,500)
