Panoramic view shows man with ax over shoulder proceeding up slope. Cleared hill on right side now covered with grass. Wooded low hills with house in valley. A nice detailed painting of the 19th Century. Signed lower right “J.W. Pattison 1867”. Housed in a gold gesso decorated frame. SIZE: 12” x 20”.
