LOUIS CHARLES HIPPOLYTE BUHOT (French, 1815-1865) HARVEST. Fine figural bronze putti group depicting the successful harvest. The sculpture shows a large gathering of wheat being pulled by one putti while another pushes and another sits atop holding the scythe and wheat stock. Nice dark brown patina. Signed in bold letters “C. Buhot”. Mounted atop a molded edge oval brown and white marble base. SIZE: Total is 19″ h x 14-1/2″ l x 8-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Very good. 9-91375 (3,500-6,500)
