ADOLF ARTHUR DEHN (American, 1895-1968) SUNBATHING ON THE BEACH. Colorful watercolor scene shows young woman reclining in beach chair wearing flower decorated two-piece swimsuit. Arms are holding down a large wide brimmed yellow sun hat. Yellow towel at her feet. A large white fringed teal green beach umbrella casts a shadow by her. Other bathers and beach umbrellas behind with grass covered sand dunes in distance. Signed lower right “Adolf Dehn 49”. Housed in a fine gilt gesso decorated frame with linen liner.
