LOT OF TWO MECHANICAL BANKS. Consisting of: 1) Biblical Jonah and the Whale bank by J & E Stevens depicting Jonah being tossed into the whale’s mouth. Bank retains significant amounts of polychrome finish, including significant white caps to the water. 2) Speaking Dog bank by Shepard Hardware. When lever is pressed, Victorian girl deposits coin in sofa while dog opens mouth and wags tail. A Classic! SIZE: Jonah, 10″ l; Speaking Dog, 7″ l. CONDITION: Some over paint at the base of Jonah bank and old repair of whale’s tail. Otherwise both banks in good condition. 1-6000, 1-6186-1. MC (1,000-1,600)
