INGE HARDISON (American, 1904-1950) “BUST OF CHARLES RICHARD DREW (1905-1950)”. Plaster bust of man mounted on square bevel base with label indicating title and “He found a way to save lives by saving blood”. Signed on back “Inge Hardison 1967”. Brown bronze patina. Dr. Charles Drew was the inventor of the blood bank. A nice African-American subject by one of America’s African-American artist’s. SIZE: 5” h; base 5-1/4” x 4-1/4”. CONDITION: Chip to corners of base and at back edge of bust. Generally very good. 9-25522 (300-500)
