20” S & H 1159 LADY DOLL. A nice example of the Simon & Halbig 1159 “lady doll”, she has fine bisque and her original mohair eyelashes. On her original composition ball jointed “lady” body, she is attired in a dazzling copper gown with cream brocade highlighting (some deterioration to outfit) and a straw bonnet. Wearing fine mesh gloves and a dark brown replacement wig. CONDITION: Her blue eyes have been set; otherwise, doll is in fine condition. JL 1-2461 (1200-1400)
