OUTSTANDING LARGE CAMILLE FAURE LIMOGES VASE. Large round bodied vase with silver footed base having small flaring mouth which has a rolled silver rim. Piece is marked “C. Faure Limoges” on bottom edge. Round body sculpted in colors of lavender, white, black and blue enamels. Swirling decoration with a combination of half circles, some having black centers. An outstanding example of this type of Limoges. SIZE: 11-3/4″ h x 11-3/4″ at widest. PROVENANCE: Christies, New York, May 28th, 1983, Lot 4498 of the Feldstein Collection. CONDITION: Very good.
