HARRIET WHITNEY FRISHMUTH (American, 1880-1980) “SPEED”. Silvered bronze figure of a nude woman with swept back wings with one knee on round ball having round base. The other leg outstretched behind and arms extended in front with hands clasped. Signed on base “Harriet W. Frishmuth Design Patented 1921”. Mounted on a stepped black marble base. SIZE: Bronze is 3-1/2” h x 8” l. 5” total h. CONDITION: Very good. Some slight wear to silver finish. 9-25588 (4,000-6,000)
