ALEXANDER BOWER (American, 1875-1952) “ROCKS AND SURF”. Oil on canvas Maine coastal scene shows waves crashing into an inlet with rocky ledge shoreline. The painting is partially signed lower right and signed on reverse of which there is a photograph of the title and artist signature which was on the original canvas. Housed in a wide shell decorated partial gilt and white wash frame. SIZE: 24″ x 36″. CONDITION: Very good, relined, minor inpainting. 9-91761 (1,800-2,000)
