*DELUXE WINCHESTER MODEL 03 SEMI-AUTO RIFLE. Cal. 22Auto. Fine deluxe rifle with 20” tapered round bbl, Lyman ivory bead front sight, slot blank in the rear dovetail with about 3X feather crotch cut walnut stock and forearm, with checkered forearm and pistol grip stock that has a smooth steel buttplate. It has a locking Lyman tang sight. Accompanied by a maroon canvas and leather, red velour-lined takedown trunk case. SN 67936. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl retains 98-99% strong bright original blue. The receiver is flaked to about 92-93% strong bright original blue with the flaked areas a light patina. There are a couple of scratches on the receiver. The bolt retains about 80% original niter blue. The wood is sound and retains about 95% of its fine piano varnish with a long, thin bruise, a small grain check and a couple of chips in the finish on the left side of the butt stock.
