EARLY OVAL MINIATURE PORTRAIT OF A GENTLEMAN. Washington like figure in chest high portrait wears a blue coat and white collar. Man having white hair and blush cheeks. Housed in a pink gold pinch back frame with solid back. Appears to be early 19th or late 18th Century and on ivory. SIZE: 1-1/2″ x 1-1/4″. CONDITION: Replaced plastic front, frame with some damage.
