23” FOLK ART BLACK RAG DOLL. A noteworthy black folk art cloth doll on a sateen with stitched and applied facial features including double button eyes!! Her nappy hair has been applied to the sateen. Dressed in a simple white cotton dress and holding cotton buds. Unknown circa but believe it to be late 19th or early 20th century. CONDITION: Overall condition is very fine, slight damage to right hand. JL 1-2664 (400-600)
