ERNEST LAWSON (American, 1873-1939) FLORIDA LANDSCAPE. Large oil on canvas scene shows bright colored landscape with central water surrounded by tropical vegetation. A heavy colorful pallet includes yellows, blues, greens and oranges. Signed lower left “E. Lawson”. Housed in a fine decorated carved wood frame. Probably a scene in the Coral Gables, Florida area. PROVENANCE: Our understanding is this was found in the artists estate, rolled up and presently has been restretched onto a newer stretcher. SIZE: 24” x 30”.
